HD Ratings: Dream Start for Dream Home

The first HD season of Mitre 10 Dream Home started strongly on Tuesday, averaging 10.1% – 16.5% of the major demographics.
It wasn’t enough to beat TV One’s Dynamo: Magician Impossible (7.9% – 17.7%) but drew up to twice as many viewers as TV3’s double-episode finale of Modern Family.
However, Dream Home’s dream start scarcely helped Go Girls out of its doldrums, with the fading TV2 hit averaging only 6.6% – 9.3%.
Still, that was enough to beat the final of TV One’s Penguins: Spy in the Huddle (4.1% – 7.6%) and was competitive with TV3’s SD re-run of The Bourne Ultimatum (6.3% – 8.3%).
TV One’s NZ Detectives rebounded from last week’s abysmal debut, with 3.0% – 6.7% and in the demo both TV3 and TV One target, adults 25-54, won the 9.30 hour against TV2’s season finale of Revenge (5.8% – 8.5%).
