HD Ratings: Eat Well Gobbles Up Rivals
The season final of Eat Well for Less? NZ won its slot in the core commercial demographics on Tuesday.
It averaged 3.9% of 25-54 year-olds and 2.8% of 18-49s to beat Three’s The Block NZ: Redemption (3.6%/2.4%) and TVNZ 2’s MasterChef NZ (3.2%/2.2%).
Eat Well’s success helped lead-out Unbreakable to win the 8.30 hour, with 2.2%/1.7%, while Three’s NCIS (1.8%/1.0%) had the edge on TVNZ 2’s NCIS: Hawai’i (1.4%/0.9%).
At 9.30, Three’s NCIS: Los Angeles ruled: 1.2%/0.8% vs 0.8% of each key demo for TVNZ 2’s SEAL Team and 0.6%/0.4% for TVNZ 1’s Coronation Street.
Earlier, TVNZ 1’s 5.00-7.30 line-up proved unassailable, with its most popular show, 1 News, drawing roughly twice as many viewers in the core demos as Three’s Newshub Live.
It was bad news for Newshub Live’s 8pm bulletin on Eden, which averaged 0.0% of 25-54s and 18-49s, and while Prime’s A Gilded Age is holding up (0.4%/0.1%), its other Tuesday night premium drama, Mare of Easttown, couldn’t top 0.0%.
TVNZ 1 won the night with 28+ shares of the key demos and Three easily led TVNZ 2.
Note: These overnight ratings exclude viewership of the networks’ +1 SD channels.
