In a week of season and series finales, TV One’s Sunday night line-up went out on top.

Our Big Blue Backyard, Happy Valley and Secrets and Lies largely won their slots with the network’s target audience, 25-54 year-olds.

Backyard averaged 5.3% – 9.1% to win or be competitive in each of the major demos while Happy Valley rated 3.2% – 6.7% and Secrets and Lies 1.9% – 4.1%.

The return of Radar Across the Pacific averaged 6.2% – 8.8% against TV2’s Prep & Landing: Naughty vs Nice (5.2% – 6.5%) and TV3’s Rio (2.8% – 6.2%), which bombed in the 18-39 demo.

TV2’s re-run of Mr Deeds (5.1% – 8.4%) was especially popular with younger audiences — but lead-out Agents of SHIELD (2.9% – 4.1%) averaged only half as many viewers.

TV3’s The Night Shift (2.4% – 2.7%) and Hawaii Five-O (1.2% -1.5%) rounded off a disastrous night for the network.

TV2 dominated Saturday with The Voice and Charlie’s Angels as did its crossover episodes on Thursday of The Flash (5.5% – 7.2%) and Arrow (5.4% – 5.6%).

Last week TV3’s The Block Glasshouse regained the upper hand over TV One’s Masterchef Australia but couldn’t match TV2’s Wednesday movie, Life as We Know It (6.1% – 11.0%), Nabbed and Motorway Patrol on Tuesday, or The Amazing Race on Monday.

TV2 also scored Monday with its repeat of Gloriavale: A World Apart (6.3% – 9.7%) and the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead (5.5% – 10.4%).

TV One’s series finale of Unforgettable on Tuesday also rated strongly, averaging 4.8% – 7.1% to win the 9.30 hour in every key demo except household shoppers with kids, who opted for Sons of Anarchy (3.2% – 7.4%).
