HD Ratings: Huge Appetite for Eat Well

TVNZ 1’s Eat Well for Less has become one of the biggest hits of the new season.

Thursday’s season finale averaged 7.5% of the 25-54 demographic, 5.7% of 18-49, 4.3% of 18-39 and 6.4% of household shoppers with kids.

It won the 7.30 hour in all the key commercial demos against TVNZ 2’s Family Food Fight and Three’s comedies.

FFF averaged 4.1% of 25-54, 3.8% of 18-49, 3.4% of 18-39 and 6.2% of HHS/k.

Modern Family’s highest rating was a 25-54 average of 3.2% and 9JKL, 2.7% of the same demo.

But Three owned the rest of the night with its re-run of Oblivion out-rating TVNZ 2’s The X-Files and TVNZ 1’s The History of Comedy and Coronation Street in the core demos.

X-Files finished third at 8.30, except in the 18-39 demo, and averaged 2.1% of 25-54 compared to Oblivion’s 3.1% and Comedy’s 2.6%.

X-Files lead-out I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! also struggled, with only 0.8% of 25-54, 0.6% of 18-49 and 18-39, and 1.0% of HHS/k.

In the same demos, Coro St averaged 1.0% – 1.7%.

1 News dominated at 6pm, losing to Three’s Newshub Live only in the 18-39 demo, while at 7.00 The Extreme Cake Makers topped The Project (although Shortland Street remained all conquering).

TVNZ 1 won the night with exceptionally high shares of all the key demos: 28% of 25-54, 25.2% of 18-49, 25.0% of 18-39 and 27.3% of HHS/k.
