HD Ratings: Murder Victim of Top Cops
Monday’s double-episode season final of My Life is Murder lost in the core commercial demographics to Three’s Lego Masters and overlapping crime procedurals.
The 8.30 instalment averaged 2.6% of 25-54 year-olds and 1.4% of 18-49s while the 9.30 wrap-up averaged 2.0%/1.4%.
It was narrowly beaten by Three’s line-up in the 25-54 race but the 18-49 gap was much wider.
Lego averaged 2.8%/2.2%, The Rookie 2.6%/2.1% and Special Victims Unit 1.9%/1.6%.
TVNZ 2’s Celebrity Treasure Island averaged 3.6%/2.5%, Renters 2.3%/1.3% and Australian Survivor 1.4%/0.7%.
As usual, TVNZ 1’s evening lineup was a ratings juggernaut, with the first sign of weakness being The Check Up at 8.00, which averaged 2.4%/1.4%, on the back of Fair Go’s 4.2%/2.7%, to finish third.
Prime’s Wining Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty averaged 0.0% of each key demo and Whakaata Māori’s Island of the Hungry Ghosts 0.1%/0.0%.
TVNZ 1 won the night’s biggest key demo shares, topping 30% of 25-54s, while Three led TVNZ 2 in each demo by about 10 points.
Note: These overnight ratings exclude viewership of the networks’ +1 SD channels.
