HD Ratings: Nadia’s Farm Blooms

Three’s premiere of Nadia’s Farm on Wednesday won its time slot in the core commercial demographics.

It averaged 3.3% of 25-54 year-olds and 1.9% of 18-49s, on the back of 3.8%/2.5% for The Block NZ: Redemption.

Next week Nadia’s Farm will take over the 7.30 slot, as The Block will end its run on Sunday.

TVNZ 1’s The Hotel Inspector averaged 2.3%/2.0% and appears to have had a higher 18-49 viewership because Nadia’s Farm started and finished later.

But when the two went head-to-head, Three’s newcomer won two of the quarter-hour segments and drew one.

However, Nadia’s popularity wasn’t enough to deliver a win for lead-out The Men Who Sold the World Cup (0.8%/0.6%).

It won its slot last week but this week finished behind TVNZ 1’s Coronation Street (1.2%/1.0%) and TVNZ 2’s Live at the Apollo (1.1%/0.6%).

Apollo’s lead-in, the season premiere of Taskmaster, averaged 1.2%/1.0%.

Earlier, TVNZ 1 ruled both key demos with The Chase, 1 News at Six, Seven Sharp and The Chase: The Bloopers.

The network won the night with peak demo shares of 33+ while Three finished well ahead of TVNZ 2.

Note: These overnight ratings exclude viewership of the networks’ +1 SD channels.

It looks like season 1 of Fear the Walking Dead will soon be on AMC+ so I don’t think The Walking Dead will be too far away. Also episode 3 of Tales of the Walking Dead is now up ?
