HD Ratings: Nashville Captures More of Country

TV One’s Nashville hit a season high on Wednesday, averaging 2.6% – 5.6% of the major demographics.

It was far from chart-topping, finishing a distant second to TV2’s Once Upon a Time (5.5% – 7.4%), but was well ahead of TV3’s Bouncers (2.3% – 4.0%).

Moreover, the episode reversed the drama’s slide since its 2.4% – 4.6% premiere on May 7 and was much higher than the previous week’s 0.9% – 3.1%.

It’s also consistently rated better than Hostages averaged in the same slot.

Otherwise, it was another win-win Wednesday for TV2, with Shortland Street (13.9% – 20.5%), My Kitchen Rules (15.0% – 20.6%), The Big Bang Theory (9.8% – 15.8%) and 2 Broke Girls (8.0% – 10.9%).

TV3’s House Rules averaged 3.4% – 7.3% compared with 3.1% – 4.1% the previous week but week-on-week TV One posted the biggest ratings and channel share gains.
