HD Ratings: Neighbours Vacates TVNZ 1

Neighbours bowed out in primetime on Friday with the movie-length swansong losing to TVNZ 2’s Aussie rival Travel Guides.

Neighbours: The Final Farewell averaged 2.8% of 25-54 year-olds and 1.7% of 18-49s, the key demopraphics that shape network schedules.

TG averaged 3.2%/2.6%, although Neighbours’ opening half-hour did beat it in the 25-54 demo.

Neighbours rated slightly higher than The Repair Shop the previous week and led Three’s Mission: Impossible III in both demos.

TVNZ 2’s Have You Been Paying Attention? narrowly outrated TVNZ 1’s The Dog House in the 25-54 demo but was well ahead with 18-49s.

Earlier, TVNZ 1’s Seven Sharp won the 25-54 viewership but lost to TVNZ 2’s Shortland Street in the 18-49 demo; Three’s The Project trailed both.

TVNZ 1 won the night’s biggest key demo shares. TVNZ 2 lost the 25-54 vote to Three but was significantly ahead in the 18-49 demo.
