HD Ratings: Ninja Kneecaps Survivor

Australian Ninja Warrior came out fighting on Monday, losing against the dynamic duo of Fair Go and Border Patrol but pummelling Project Runway NZ and Australian Survivor in three of the four core commercial demographics.

Three’s replacement for Married at First Sight NZ averaged 5.5% of the network’s 25-54 viewership, 4.5% of 18-49s and 4.0% of 18-39s.

Fair Go averaged 4.0% – 7.9% in these demos and stablemate Border Patrol, 3.1% – 6.7%.

Project Runway NZ finished third, with 3.2% of 25-54s, 2.6% of 18-49s and 2.7% of 18-39s.

Australian Survivor overlapped the last half-hour of the 90-minute Ninja and the start of Three’s time slot-winning 9-1-1.

Consequently, it sunk to 2.5% of 25-54s, 1.5% of 18-49s and 1.3% of 18-39s.

9-1-1 averaged 4.2% off 25-54s, 3.1% of 18-49s and 2.7% of 18-39s, crushing TVNZ 1’s premiere of The Trial: A Murder in the Family.

It averaged only 1.0% – 1.9% of these demos on the back of low-rating Take Two’s 1.5% – 3.0%.

TVNZ 2’s The Walking Dead was just that, with averages of 0.3% – 1.1%.

TVNZ 1 narrowly beat Three to win the night in the 25-54 and 18-49 demos but Three was tops with 18-39s and TVNZ 2 with household shoppers with kids.
