HD Ratings: Restoration Man Spruces Up TV1

TV1’s Restoration Man has turned into one of the network’s biggest hits, with Thursday’s episode winning the 7.30 hour in three of the commercial demographics.

Its 3.8% – 11.8% average topped the competition except in the 18-3 demo, which opted for TV2’s Police Ten 7 (7.1% – 9.3%) and Highway Patrol (7.3% – 8.1%).

TV3’s The X Factor UK finished third for the hour but rated respectably over two hours (4.1% – 5.5%).

The second hour faced off against TV1’s House Husbands (3.0% – 7.6%) and TV2’s The Undateables (6.7% – 7.2%), which won the slot in all the key demos except household shoppers with kids.

Its popularity helped lead-out Arrow (4.9% – 6.0%) to beat TV1’s Alan Carr Chatty Man (0.9% – 2.0%) and TV3’s documentary, Born in the Wrong Body (3.5% – 4.7%).
