HD Ratings: Revenge Falls Prey to Africa

The series finale of Africa on Tuesday largely won the 8.30 hour while an NCIS bounce-back left Revenge in third place for the first time.

Africa averaged 5.8% – 10.1%, its highest ratings for the season, compared to NCIS’ 4.6% – 10.3% and Revenge’s 4.9% – 9.1%.

NCIS: Los Angeles also rated strongly at 9.30, with 4.4% – 11.7%. The previous week NCIS rated 3.1% – 7.6% and LA, 2.0% – 7.0%.

What makes Africa’s and NCIS’ win over Revenge astonishing is TV2’s soap lost half the audience lead-in My Kitchen Rules delivered.

TV3 also was competitive earlier in the night, when Modern Family (5.6% – 8.2%) and Go On (4.9% – 5.9%) out-rated TV One’s return of RPA in all the key demos except 25-54.
