HD Ratings: Stalker Still Stumbling
TV1’s Monday night newcomer Stalker is still struggling to build an audience, with this week’s episode drawing only 2.5% of household shoppers with kids, one of the major demographics that helped to make Criminal Minds a hit on the same network.
It was most popular with TV1’s target audience, averaging 5.8% of adults 25-54 to win the 8.30 hour.
But it rated only 2.9% – 4.4% of the 18-39 and 18-49 demos.
Lead-out Castle crashed off the back of this, with only 0.9% – 3.8% (it rated 1.7% or less in all the key demos except 25-54).
TV2’s Mysteries of Laura slipped from the previous week’s 6.4% – 10.4%, averaging only 5.4% – 7.7%.
But this still was enough to largely win the 8.30 hour off the back of The Middle (6.6% – 9.1%) and the under-performing Cougar Town (4.4% – 6.2%).
TV3’s re-run of The Siege averaged 4.1% – 5.3% as part of a lacklustre line-up that didn’t win the network any pf the key demos.
However, its Sunday repeat of Knocked Up topped all four major demos (3.6% – 4.2%) and out-rated lead-in Kung Fu Panda (2.5% – 4.3%) except among HHS/k.
Otherwise, TV2’s movies Big Daddy (4.4% – 6.3%) and Jack and Jill (2.8% – 5.8%) dominated HHS/k while TV1’s Micro Monsters (1.9% – 5.0%) and Broadchurch (2.8% – 6.5) were tops with adults 25-54.
TV1’s series final of Prey averaged 0.4% – 3.5% and held the interest only of the network’s target audience.
TV3’s Robin Hood was the top-rating movie on Saturday and won all the key demos (3.7% – 4.5%) while TV2’s The Bachelor Australia (3.5% – 3.9%) and The Ugly Truth (3.7% – 4.7%) had the biggest share of 18-39 and 18-49 year-olds outside of Shortland Street.
