HD Ratings: TV2’s Super Run Night Continues
Mondays continue to be one of TV2’s highest-rating nights, with its two-hour comedy block leaving everyone but the competition laughing.
This week The Middle averaged 10.7% – 14.2% of the major demographics, Trophy Wife 8.5% – 12.5%, Super Fun Night 9.6% – 13.4% and Brooklyn Nine-Nine 7.4% – 9.0%.
This compares to TV One and TV3 not being able to reach more than 8.3% of viewers in any key demo for their 7.30-9.30 shows.
MasterChef NZ averaged 4.4% – 7.2%, Person of Interest 3.4% – 8.3%, Road Cops 6.1% – 7.2%, The GC 5.7% – 6.4% and a re-run of The Day the Earth Stood Still 4.5% – 5.6%.
TV2’s comedies dominated on the back of Shortland Street’s untouchable 15.1% – 21.1% and set up The Walking Dead to easily win the 9.30 hour with 6.0% – 6.5% — although the gap between this and the last hour of TV3’s movie often wasn’t much more than a point.
The Following, however, continues to make a mockery of its title with only 0.8% – 2.9% of the key demos tuning into Monday’s episode.
