HD Ratings: X Marks the Slot Winners
TV3 had the X factor on Sunday when it won the night in all the key demographics.
The X Factor Australia (7.0% – 9.1%) topped the 18-39, 18-49 and household shoppers with kids demos while a re-run of X-Men: First Class (5.3% – 7.2%) made a clean sweep.
TV2’s network movie premiere of The Campaign could average only 4.0% – 6.0% to seesaw with TV One’s Call the Midwife (2.8% – 6.7%) and A Place to Call Home (2.8% – 4.0%).
Earlier, TV One’s My Kitchen Rules NZ (4.7% – 8.5%) largely finished third, behind X Factor and TV2 comedies The Middle (7.0% 10.0%) and The Neighbors (5.2% – 9.1%).
The late-night season premiere of Hannibal (0.7% – 2.4%) won its slot with HHS/k and was competitive in the 25-54 demo.
On Saturday, the HD networks were crushed by live rugby on Sky and delayed coverage on Prime while on Friday TV2 and TV3 went head-to-head with The Voice Kids Australia (6.2% – 12.3%) and The Block NZ (6.8% – 10.4%), with the latter winning the 7.30 hour in the 18-39, 18-49 and 25-54 demos.
On Thursday, TV2’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (5.6% – 9.3%) left in its dust TV3’s Motive (1.8% – 3.0%) and Botched Up Bodies (2.1% – 2.9%); Motive also was beaten by TV One’s Upper Middle Bogan (3.9% – 6.1%).
At 7.30, The Block NZ (7.3% – 8.6%) won its slot opposite the final of Restoration Man (3.9% – 5.5%) and Code: 1 (5.9% – 8.8%) but not Police Ten 7 (8.5% – 11.4%).
