HDTV Ratings: April 10
NCIS: Los Angeles posted season-high ratings on Tuesday when it won the 9.30 hour with TV3’s target audience, 25-54 year-olds.
The conclusion to a two-part story averaged 8.4% of this age group compared to only 6.6% for part one.
It also was up a couple of points in other key demographics, and among household shoppers was more popular than its lead-in, sister HD show NCIS (7.9% versus 7.2%).
It was a big night as well for another TV3 staple, Missing Pieces, which averaged 10.3% of the 25-54 demo to virtually match Suburgatory’s 10.4% on TV2.
While Suburgatory was comfortably ahead in other demos, Missing Pieces’ popularity has boomed since Target replaced The Private Lives of Dancers as its lead-in and dented HD comedy The Middle’s appeal.
At 8.30pm, TV2’s Go Girls was back on top, with TV One’s HD re-run of Nature’s Great Events out-rating it only among 25-54 year-olds (11.6% vs 10.6%) — although the 18-49 contest was close: 11.0% vs 10.7%.
