HDTV Ratings: May 14-15
GCB’s Tuesday premiere narrowly won the 8.30 hour with TV2’s target audience, 18-39 year-olds, but was soundly beaten by the season finale of Yellowstone in every other key demographic.
The soap opera satire averaged an 18-39 rating of 10.0% compared to Yellowstone’s 9.6% and NCIS’ 5.6%.
But in the 18-49, 25-54 and household shopper demos, Yellowstone averaged 11.7%-15.3%, GCB 8.8%-11.1% and NCIS 4.1%-6.8%.
The double-episode of The Middle was down slightly on the previous week’s half-hour but Funny Roots largely held up in its second week, with ratings of 6.2%-9.0%.
NCIS: Los Angeles’ see-saw ratings continued, with the Hawaii Five-0 crossover episode averaging only 4.1%-6.3%.
TV2 dominated Monday’s ratings with another hour-long episode of Shortland Street (18.6%-21.9%) and strong numbers ofor Desperate Housewives (9.9%-14.8%) and Revenge (7.9%-.12.5): both shows won their slots across the key demos.
TV One’s Criminal Minds (9.9%) and Person of Interest (7.0%) also rated well with their target audience, 25-54 year-olds, as did TV3’s Modern Family (7.2%).
Once again, Modern Family lead-in Last Man Standing was pulverised by the extra-long Stortland Street, averaging only 1.5%-3.2%.

Speaking of Hawaii Five-0, any news of series two here?
TV3 says it will be returning but hasn’t yet determined a transmission date.
