HDTV Ratings: November 16-18
Nothing Trivial ended its second season on Sunday by winning the 8.30 hour with it target audience, 25-54 year-olds.
It averaged 11.3% of this audience, retaining most of the 13.0% that tuned into the semi-final of NZ’s Got Talent.
Trivial averaged a sprightly 7.4% – 10.9% of other key demos and Talent, 9.8% – 14.0%; Trivial’s HD lead-out, Offspring, averaged 3.2% – 6.3% for its penultimate episode.
In the Sunday movie stakes, TV3’s HD re-run of Duplicity (3.3% – 6.6%) was pummelled by TV2’s SD premiere of You Again (9.9% – 12.8%).
On Saturday, TV3’s On the Grill (3.5% – 6.0%) turned up the heat on Annabel Langbein’s Free Range Cook: Simple Pleasures (4.6% – 8.6%) while the first of TV2’s second-weekly screenings of The Voice largely won the 7.30 hour with 4.3% – 7.0%.
Friday’s two-hour edition averaged 5.6% – 8.2% but couldn’t beat TV3’s The Graham Norton Show (6.9% – 9.7%) – although TV2’s HD re-runs of The Big Bang Theory (10.8% – 11.4%) and Two and a Half Men (9.4% – 10.3%) were largely ahead of The X Factor USA (5.9% – 11.1%).
