HD TV Ratings: October 10-16

TV2’s newest HD drama revolutionised its Tuesday night ratings.

The premiere of Revolution averaged 8.8% – 12.6% of the key demos, off the back of My Kitchen Rules’ 15.8% – 18.5%.

While the ratings were much higher than usual for the 9.30-10.30 slot, interest in the newcomer waned over the hour.

For instance, it opened with 15.2% of 25-54 year-olds but closed with 10.9%.

While Revolution easily out-rated the competition, the test will come tonight in its weekly 9.30 slot without a lead-in as popular as My Kitchen Rules.
