HDTV Ratings: September 5
After winning last Monday’s ratings with the free-to-air HD premiere of Transporter 3, TV3 last night took a step backwards with its first HD airing of Jumper.
It was most popular with the channel’s target audience, 25-54 year-olds.
But it still was left in the dust by TV2’s HD combo of The Mentalist and Body of Proof.
The former is strong across all demographics and while there’s a marked fall-off for Body of Proof at 9.30, the Dana Delany crime drama is rating higher than its predecessor, Brothers and Sisters.
Last night’s HD ratings winners were (rating > channel share):
25-54: The Mentalist 14.7% > 30.5%, Body of Proof 11% > 32.7%, Jumper 8.7% > 21.3%.
18-49: The Mentalist 14.1% > 32.8%, Body of Proof 10.7% > 34.4%, Jumper 8.5% > 23%.
18-39: The Mentalist 15.3% > 36.8%, Body of Proof 10.2% > 34.6%, Jumper 7.6% > 21.5%.
HHS*: The Mentalist 18% > 35.4%, Body of Proof 15.5% > 40.6%, Jumper 9% > 20.2%.
