HDTV Ratings: Fortune Falters, Dancers Dip
Two of TV3’s HD flagships, Outrageous Fortune and The Secret Lives of Dancers, last night took a tumble.
But they still had enough poise to help the network win Tuesday’s ratings race.
Both local productions dipped sharply in viewership, with Outrageous Fortune down from 19%-plus ratings in key demos the previous week to 14.7% of TV3’s target audience, 18-49 year-olds.
It rated similarly in other demos, except 18-39 year-olds, where it averaged 16.1%.
Dancers’ ratings slipped from 11.1% of household shoppers with kids last week to 8.5%, from 8.3% of 18-49 year-olds to 6.1%, and from 9.1% of 25-54 year-olds to 7%.
Californication’s viewership also was down because of its lead-ins being weaker than normal but both it and Outrageous Fortune still comfortably out-rated TV2’s umpteenth re-run of Armageddon.
