Hot Off the Press Release: SS7 New Home of Kiwi Soccer
From tomorrow, Sky Sport 7 will become the official channel of NZ and international football.
It will be rebranded Sky Sport 7 beIN SPORTS and kick off a four-year partnership that builds on Sky’s branding of the stadium in Wellington and its sponsorship of the Wellington Phoenix team.
For the past month SS7 has screened beIN SPORTS content but from September 3, branding and programming will be refreshed.

With the obvious glaring exception of the jewel in the crown for most football fans here, the English Premier League (EPL) 🙁
That’s the joy of competition. As EPL fans in the UK know, you have to subscribe to multiple services to get what you want. In NZ if you want football you have to pay two providers (and you have had to since 2013/14). Just been lucky that you could put it in the same bill for the last 3 years (much like where the UK have got to after years and years of split billing between BT and SkyUK).
