If You Love Suzie …
Sky has added three more drawcards to Neon’s December schedule, including season two of I Hate Suzie.
Streaming from December 21, it has Billie Piper’s frazzled child star-turned-actress returning to her first love – the public.
She must try to keep life stable for her young son while remaining in a new reality TV competition long enough to finance her new role as single mum and ex-wife. Will she restore her reputation and win back the hearts of the British public?
Also new will be the Topp Twins performance tribute, Topp Class (December 14), featuring acts like Troy Kingi, Tami Neilson, Te Radar, Anika Moa, Michelle A-Court, Tom Sainsbury and Chris Parker, and Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything (December 16), a comedy series about a recovering addict who tries to change her life for the better.
Sheridan Smith, Richard Lumsden, Ardal O’Hanlon and Pauline McLynn star.
“The six-part series looks rather chaotic and brimming with cheeky humour, but there is also scope for more dramatic scenes relating to the serious theme of addiction,” Radio Times reckons.
