INSiDE Out at Prime

Prime has pulled its new COVID-19 drama INSiDE because of the latest outbreak of the virus.

The 15-minute drama was to have screened 8.30 Sundays-Wednesdays, starting this weekend, with a weekly Saturday-night compilation.

But the network has shelved the NZ On Air-backed drama because of a storyline deemed too sensitive: Morgana O’Reilly plays a reclusive tech expert who shares a bubble with a bully from her past during a second wave of COVID-19.

It’s not the only Prime show to be stymied by Auckland’s level-three lockdown.

Also exiting the schedule are The Crowd Goes Wild, which Storage Wars will replace for the rest of the week, tomorrow night’s 1st XV Rugby Revision, which is being pulled for Surveillance Oz, and Saturday’s Olympic athletes special, One Fern: One Hundred Years.
