Jon Hamm Drama Returns in April

Apple TV drama Your Friends & Neighbors will return for 10 new episodes on April 3.

Season two of the Jon Hamm sensation has Andrew Cooper doubling down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief — until the arrival of a new neighbour threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.

New to the cast, which features Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn, is James Marsden.

No word yet from Disney+ on whether the drama that made Hamm a star, Mad Men, will stream here in 4K from December 14.

HBO Max in the US has just started streaming all seven seasons for the first time in the higher resolution — but there was an embarrassing glitch when Lionsgate delivered it the wrong 4K file. According to The Hollywood Reporter:

For starters, the Mad Men episodes in 4K on HBO Max were listed out of order and mislabeled, which likely made series creator Matthew Weiner an absolute mad man.

But that’s nothing compared to an actual edit-oopsie in the seventh episode of season one. In Red in the Face (what the episode is supposed to be titled, but was not on 4K HBO Max), a drunk (they were always drunk) Roger Sterling (John Slattery) vomits up oysters in the office in front of prospective clients.

In the initial 4K stream that released on HBO Max, a Mad Men crew member was very visibly operating a barf hose behind Sterling, in full view of the camera. There was even a second staffer in frame supporting the puke-hose tech.

Meanwhile, Netflix has released the trailer for People We Meet on Vacation, which stars Emily Bader and Tom Blyth as best friends who spend every summer holiday together.

Will their decade-long friendship survive when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else: could they actually be the perfect romantic match?

The romantic comedy premieres on January 9.
