Lost to End Earlier

TV2 will screen the movie-length series finale of Lost within a week of its US broadcast.

The penultimate episode will air on May 26 and the last instalment, entitled The End, three days later  (it screens in the US on Sunday).

Losing Lost won’t be a great loss to TV2’s schedule ratings-wise, given it’s regularly beaten by TV3’s SVU.

The network also will be relieved that Lost lead-in FlashForward has been axed in the US, as it’s been another single-digit loser.

Expect double-episodes to air next month as the series counts down to its mid-June finale.

Meanwhile, Lost: The Final Season is slated for a late-August Blu-ray release n the US.
