Love Island Due on Duke
The latest season of TVNZ+ drawcard Love Island will have a linear run on Duke.
The UK sensation was scheduled to launch June 10 on the channel but now will screen from June 7.
It will air around 5pm daily, pre-empting the previously scheduled Parks and Recreation which, from June 8, will replace Community at 6pm.
Also being dropped from the schedule are Heavy Rescue, which ABC World News will replace.
Duke also will screen post-midnight Tuesdays Love Island UK: Aftersun, a mix of gossip, interviews with the islanders, and input from a panel of celebrity super-fans with their reaction to everything happening in the villa.
S10 of Love Island starts June 5 in the UK, but won’t stream on TVNZ+ until the same day as its Duke debut.
It was recently revealed what training the Love Island contestants are being given ahead of the launch, in line with the ITV2 show’s duty of care procedures.
