My Sky + … Movies in January

Fantasy/sci-fi films dominate Sky Movies’ HD premieres, from the penultimate Harry Potter adventure to Gulliver’s Travels, I Am Number Four and The Adjustment Bureau.

There’s also a slew of not quite top-tier ‘toons — Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole, Tangled and Gnomeo & Juliet – and a couple of comedies that transcend their Hollywood trappings: Morning Glory and Love and Other Drugs.

Also don’t overlook Faster, a nifty noir action-thriller that undeservedly went direct to disc here.

Sister channel Sky Movies Greats is notable for the NZ HD premieres of Kingdom of Heaven, Layer Cake, I, Robot and The Thin Red Line.
