My Sky HDi … Movies in January

Sky Movies will run a mini-George Clooney festival next month when it premieres three of his foxiest films in HD.

The aptly named Fantastic Mr Fox will air on January 2 for the first time, the covert intelligence satire, The Men Who Stare at Goats, on January 15, and the exquisitely funny Oscar-nominee, Up in the Air, on January 30.

Fantastic Mr Fox isn’t the only animated eye-popper lined up in January – also watch for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (January 2) and Where the Wild Things Are (January 16).

Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones will make its HD debut on January 9, Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story on January 8, and Matt Damon’s first Bourne-free collaboration with director Paul Greengrass, Green Zone, on January 23.

Horror buffs can choose from Halloween II (January 16) and Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant (January 22).

Rounding out the rest of January are: The Time Traveler’s Wife (January 1), Shorts (January 9), Road Trip: Beer Pong (January 18), Remember Me (January 21), and The Brothers Bloom (January 29).
