My Sky HDi … Movies in February

Martin Scorsese fans can look forward to seeing two of the maestro’s movies in HD next month for the first time on Sky TV.

Shutter Island will screen on Sky Movies on February 20 and Casino on Sky Movies Greats a week earlier.

Sky Movies will be putting the frighteners on in February with the HD premieres of Saw VI, The Haunting in Connecticut and The Fourth Kind.

Also screening in HD for the first time next month on the premium movie channel will be Sherlock Holmes, The Bounty Hunter and The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call.

Meanwhile, the four Batman movies of the ‘80s and ‘90s will be dusted off in HD on Sky Movies Greats, along with Oscar-winners Million Dollar Baby and Shakespeare in Love.

In order of their appearance will be:

Sky Movies – Amelia (February 2), Saw VI (February 4), Sherlock Holmes (February 6), Whip It (February 9), The Bounty Hunter (February 13), The Fourth Kind (February 16), The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call (February 18), Shutter Island (February 20), Ninja Assassin (February 21) and The Haunting in Connecticut (February 23).

Sky Movies Greats – Batman (February 5), Batman Returns (February 12), Casino (February 13), The Notebook (February 14), Batman Forever (February 19), The Wedding Date (February 20), A Lot Like Love (February 21), Batman & Robin (February 26), Million Dollar Baby (February 27) and Shakespeare in Love (February 28).
