My Sky HDi … Movies in September

New chapters in the Twilight, Ice Age and Harry Potter franchises will premiere in HD next month on Sky Movies.

Twilight Saga: New Moon will screen on September 19, and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince a week later.

An earlier Potter adventure, The Prisoner of Azkaban, also will make its HD debut next month, on Movies Greats, along with Road to Perdition, which coincides with its Blu-ray bow, and Children of Men.

Other notable HD premieres include (500) Days of Summer, A Serious Man and The Young Victoria, which had only a DVD release here and should look truly regal in 1080i.

Sky Movies Greats – After the Sunset (September 2), French Kiss (September 6), Road to Perdition (September 12), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (September 19), Blade: Trinity (September 25), Children of Men (September 28).
