My Sky + … Movies in January
A coming-of-age Oscar-winner about an orphaned gizmo-whizz who lives in the clock tower of a Paris railway station is next month’s premier HD premiere on Sky Movies.
Martin Scorsese’s Hugo is one of several family movies to debut in HD in January.
Others include Dolphin Tale, Tooth Fairy 2, The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer, Flicka 3 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.
And screening the same week as live coverage of the Screen Actors Guild Awards is the shockingly funny comedy that should have won Charlize Theron award after award, Young Adult.
New on the sci-fi front will be Men in Black 3, The Darkest Hour and Chronicle while those who like their horror horrifically bad can choose from Behemoth, Roadkill, Sea Beast and The Devil Inside.
New in HD on Sky Movies Greats will be movies from M Night Shayamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable), Tony Scott (Man on Fire, Crimson Tide), Clint Eastwood (Changeling) and John Woo (Broken Arrow).

I’m really impressed by the movies Sky has on 🙂
But you’ve seen them all … 🙂
Of the new movies I have only seen Men in Black 3 and Chronicle 🙂
I don’t have Sky, do they show movies in the correct aspect ratio?
Actually, I’m not that sure about the correct aspect ratio … Most of the movies seem to be without black bars so they probably aren’t but still I prefer it that way 🙂
Sky show some movies in correct aspect ratio but not all of them. They are very hit or miss.
