My Sky + … Movies in November

Sky adds more HD newcomers to its vintage channels next month, although Action and Classics are still a long way shy of of their schedules being 95% HD.

Western fans will appreciate at last being able to see a John Wayne western in HD on Classics, Chisum, along with the futuristic Westworld, which HBO is close to greenlighting as a series.

Other HD premieres on Classics in November include Singles, Pleasantville and Before Sunrise while Action is dusting off Walking Tall (2004) and Last Man Standing.

Sky Movies’ biggest drawcards in November will be the premieres of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Oscar contenders The Wolf of Wall Street, Saving Mr Banks and American Hustle.
