MySky HDi … Sky Movies in May
Superheroes, space cadets and Holocaust horrors dominate the state of play next month on Sky Movies.
The HD premieres of Watchmen (May 2) and Star Trek (May 30) bookend an eclectic line-up that includes two Final Solution dramas that weren’t released here on Blu-ray: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (8th) and The Reader (22nd), which ended Kate Winslet’s Oscar-losing streak not long after her infamous quip on TV’s Extras: “How many more movies do we need about the Holocaust? I mean, we get it, it was grim.”
Also making their HD debuts on Sky Movies in May will be:
The Betrayed (1st)
Ghost Image (5th)
Doubting Thomas: Lies And Spies (7th)
State Of Play (9th)
Cadillac Records (15th)
My Bloody Valentine (15th)
Bruno (16th)
Land of the Lost (18th)
Transporter 3 (23rd)
Bottle Shock (29th)
