Netflix Thriller for Succession Star

Succession’s Sarah Snook stars as a single mother who grows increasingly unsettled by her young daughter’s claims to have memories of another life in the psychological thriller, Run Rabbit Run, which will stream on Netflix from June 28.

She plays a fertility doctor who believes firmly in life and death, but after noticing the strange behaviour of her young daughter, must challenge her own values and confront a ghost from her past.

Run Rabbit Run was filmed on-location throughout Melbourne, regional Victoria and in South Australia’s Riverland region.

It joins Netflix’s growing slate of Australian-made stories including Emmy-winning documentary Puff: Wonders of the Reef, hit series Heartbreak High and Wellmania, and crime-drama film The Stranger.

In other streaming news, Prime Video will launch the fourth and final season of Jack Ryan on June 30 and the belated S2 of Good Omens on July 28.

S4 of the spy thriller, which will stream in weekly double-episodes, has the titular hero unearthing a series of suspicious black ops as the new CIA Acting Deputy Director — and therein exposing the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organisation.

For S2, Good Omens co-creator Neil Gaiman has created an original story that goes beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley.

Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant reprise their roles for the six-part series.
