Why would you want to watch First Man (Three, 8.10) when you can watch it on NZ Netflix in the correct aspect ratio and commercial free?

  2. Good point, Paul, although Netflix’s insistence on still streaming HD content at a lower bit rate because of non-existent COVID-19 traffic congestion, when it was never an issue in this country, means Three’s broadcast will have the superior resolution.

  3. Why watch either of those platforms when UHD Blu-ray disc is much superior in every way including much much higher bitrate, resolution, and audio. Dolby Atmos and 4K are awesome! All i need now is an OLED TV and it would be better!

  4. That’s for sure, Fsmith. And if you own content on disc, you don’t have to worry about streamers removing it from their service because of kneejerk politics! Yes, OLED offers the best viewing experience overall but their limited brightness means premium LED TVs afford superior HDR benefits.
