TVNZ refuses to have surround sound on TVNZ+ due to the claim, “No additional revenue.” Here’s a fact: If they did include surround sound on the platform, more people would become members and watch, therefore more viewers, more revenue. Pretty obvious they don’t care or value their customers. I assume the same for Sky YB and Warner Bros Discovery now they own Three.

  2. Disagree. It doesnt matter whether it’s surround sound, Atmos or DTS. Just like it doesn’t matter whether its 1080i/p, 4K, 8K. It’s all about the content. Rubbish content presented in Emperors Clothes is still rubbish content. Or as one media magnate said, “Content is king”.

  3. Yes, I really like AMC+ even though it doesn’t have all of the mod cons. I really love Fear the Walking Dead ?

  4. Would you actually watch a action blockbuster movies and TV series in 2 channels? There’s a major difference in the audio experience and clearly someone doesn’t respect and/or are completely oblivious to the major benefits. This is about enjoying what you are viewing. It doesn’t matter what content it is but without great sound it will severely impact your enjoyment and experience.
