I found this on Geekzone. Unsure if accurate.
“Sky Update
Discovery HD CH 70,
Discovery Turbo HD CH0 71
Living HD channel CH0 17
From October 8th”
Thanks, Chris. Here’s the link: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=106&topicid=257219. Seems legit given it appears to have come from installers. Certainly there’s not been any media releases and last time I asked Sky about their HD timeline they promised to keep me in the loop re further announcements post-Rialto’s upgrade.
Sky’s just confirmed these channels will go HD from October 8. It’s yet to officially release the details but says there are no other updates on further HD channels at this point.
I guess National Geographic is moving to Disney+ 🙂
Of all the new HD channels, Sky has only made public announcement and notified the customers of only the extra sports channels … every other HD channel upgrade has been a hidden upgrade. I only found out about these through non-Sky platforms. Including Geekzone. Sky really dropping the ball when it comes to notifying the customers of all developments that are happening … the same applies to TVNZ and MediaWorks as they fail to provide updates to their services to customers.
