Networks Clear Schedules for Shootings Coverage
Three will pre-empt tonight’s The Graham Norton Show, 7 Days, All Aussie Adventures, Newshub Late, American Dad and Satisfaction for Newshub Breaking News coverage of this afternoon’s attacks on two Christchurch mosques.
TVNZ 1 is doing the same with its line-up, pre-empting Seven Sharp, Love Your Garden and Call the Midwife for its own coverage.
Normal transmission will resume with Coronation Street at 9.45.
Three’s scheduled 7 Days episode will go online at ThreeNow and the rest of the line-up will be rescheduled for next week.
Three also is pulling its network movie premiere of violent horror film Get Out on Sunday and replacing it with Bridget Jones’ Diary.
Action shows The Rookie and NCIS: LA also are being ditched for another movie, Love’s Last Resort.

TVNZ 1 has also pulled Hacksaw Ridge from tonight by the looks.
Thanks, Clint. I thought that would be next to go. Unfortunately, TVNZ isn’t providing scheduling updates whereas MediaWorks is, so appreciate the alert. (It couldn’t even update its EPG guides last night to reflect the programming pre-emptions.) Btw, Three is replacing today’s Survivor with Newshub Breaking News and replacing tomorrow’s Newshub Nation with Newshub Breaking News.
TVNZ 2 have removed I Am Number Four and The Expendables tonight and replaced with 17 Again and He’s Just Not That Into You. Tomorrow night 2 is not airing the premiere of Whiskey Cavalier and replaced it with the movie No Reservations. TVNZ 1 has replaced Deception with the documentary Harry and Meghan – The First Tour.
Thanks, Tony. I see Freeview’s EPG has been updated but not Sky’s.
