New Heads of State Trailer

Prime Video has released the final trailer for the July 2 premiere of action-comedy Heads of State, together with new stills.

Here’s everything you need to know at a glance:

• The film is an action-packed comedy about the US President (John Cena) and the UK Prime Minister (Idris Elba), who must set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy and save the world — if they can work together
• The global adventure blends explosive action and sharp comedic banter in the nostalgic vein of ’90s buddy movies
• Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry, Nobody) directs
• Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine co-star
• It marks Cena and Elba’s first reunion since The Suicide Squad.

In other Prime Video news, S2 of young adult drama Maxton Hall – The World Between Us will stream from November 7.

And premiering in October is Culpa Nuestra, which will bring the trilogy to its “epic conclusion”. Reads the blurb:

Jenna and Lion’s wedding sets the stage for the long-awaited reunion between Noah and Nick, sometime after their break-up. Nick’s inability to forgive Noah creates a seemingly insurmountable barrier between them. He, now heir to his grandfather’s business empire, and she, just starting her career, resist reigniting a flame that still smoulders within them. But now that their paths have crossed again, will love prove stronger than resentment?

Culpa Tuya is Prime Video’s most popular International Original globally and its teaser trailer was the most-watched of any original streaming film, with more than 163 million views.
