New Star Trek to Launch OnDemand

TVNZ OnDemand will stream Star Trek: Strange New Worlds from May 5, the same day it launches on Paramount+.

That’s good news for Trekkie fans, who had to wait until Star Trek: Discovery concluded its fourth season in the US before TVNZ OnDemand streamed it (along with the first three seasons).

Strange New Worlds will stream weekly, with a new episode landing every Thursday.

Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Rebecca Romijnas head the cast as Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One as they explore new worlds and unravel the stories behind some of the series’ most beloved characters.

Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries), Babs Olusanmokun (Black Mirror) and Christina Chong (Line of Duty) co-star.

May the 5th NZ is May the fourth in the US or Star Wars Day. May the 4th be with you.

  2. This is great news. I hope this is better than Discovery.
