New to Acorn TV in April

Spy thriller The Ipcress File isn’t the only “world premiere” that will stream next month on Acorn TV.

It also will roll out the eight-part Jane Seymour whodunit Harry Wild in weekly double-episodes and exclusively stream the latest season of Balthazar.

The former stars Seymour as a recently retired university professor who begins meddling in (and solving) her detective son’s obscure cases while recovering from a mugging at his house.

The latter opens with the French cop’s partner and soulmate, Hélène, gone, his wife Maya in prison awaiting trial and his new, resentful colleague arriving seven years after they spent one night together.
