New to Acorn TV in October

After a couple of lacklustre months, Acorn TV will launch an “October-feast” of top shows to stream, including several NZ premieres.

As already reported, Penance and Anthony will spearhead the month’s new drawcards.

But the Anglophile service also will add to its impressive whodunit slate the first two seasons of Vera (October 12), Endeavour (October 19) and Shetland (October 19), and S16 of Midsomer Murders (October 26).

There’s also the welcome — and exclusive — resurrection of two classics from the ’70s and ’80s: Reilly: Ace of Spies and S1-2 of Rumpole of the Bailey (October 19).
