New to AMC+ in April

As well as the long awaited premiere of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, AMC+ next month will stream for the first time the latest seasons of Acorn TV’s Dalgleish, Agatha Raisin and Candice Renoir.

S2 of Dalgleish is based on the PD James novels Death of an Expert Witness, A Certain Justice and The Murder Room.

They will roll out in double-episode instalments from April 24.

Being offered as box sets are S4 of Agatha Raisin (April 3) and S6 of Candice Renoir (April 17).

Coming to horror platform Shudder are:

Slasher: Ripper (April 6), which takes the franchise back to the late 19th century where a killer stalks the streets.

Kids vs Aliens (April 14): An all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing two warring siblings to band together to survive the night.

The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV Special (April 25): Mid-year variety show that celebrates the “Halfway to Halloween” season for fans who just can’t wait until October 31.

From Black (April 28): A young mother, crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son five years previously, is offered the chance to learn the truth — but at what cost?
