New to AMC+/Shudder in September

The AMC+ horror platform Shudder will premiere five exclusive titles next month and add several classics of the genre, including Re-Animator and Razorback.

Perpetrator (September 1): A reckless teen sent to live with her estranged aunt radically metamorphosises under a family spell.

Blood Flower (September 8): A young apprentice healer tries to suppress his supernatural abilities so he can fit in with the other kids … until a malicious spirit breaks out in his apartment and dark family secrets are revealed.

Elevator Game (September 15): A socially awkward teenager discovers that the night his sister disappeared, she was involved in a ritual where players attempt to travel to another dimension. Ignoring warnings, he resolves to find her.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster (September 22): A brilliant teenager who believes death is a disease that can be cured embarks on a dangerous journey to bring her murdered brother back to life.

Nightmare (September 29): Mona and Robby are a young couple in love looking to start a family — until Mona’s convinced she’s being attacked by a mythical demon hellbent on possessing her unborn child.

Library additions include Motherly (September 1); The Autopsy of Jane Doe and Razorback (September 4), Next of Kin (1984) and Re-Animator (September 11); The Ones You Didn’t Burn (September 13); The Crescent (September 18); and Project Wolf Hunting (September 21).
