New to Blu: September 19 – 25

It’s another unbelievably soft week for Blu-ray releases, with three direct-to-disc newcomers and three re-issues.

The pick of the premieres appears to be the action-comedy Tag.

Colours are deeply saturated with eye pleasing vitality and delineated depth. Images are resolute, with stable sharpness, crisp detail and appreciable subtle refinement. Contrast is dynamic without being overpowering and blacks are respectable in depth with discernible detail in low lighting and shadows.
