  1. Looking ahead – doesn’t appear to be any Wimbledon listings on Sky’s ESPN linear channels. Hoping there will be some. Maybe finals? But can’t see anything in first week.– Clint.

  2. Sorry, Clint, if you’re not a Disney+ subscriber (or can use a VPN), you won’t be able to watch Wimbledon live. Disney+ has exclusive rights in NZ.

  3. Ah that’s a shame. I am, fortunately. Just not sure how I can explain to my elderly, tennis-loving parents it’s being advertised on ESPN currently (on Sky) but won’t be available to them. But that’s a me problem … lol. — Clint.

  4. Good news for the folks, Clint: just checked with Sky and it turns out its ESPN channels will be broadcasting Wimbledon. According to a spokeswoman: “ESPN have the rights to broadcast Wimbledon in New Zealand this year. It will therefore be available to watch via both their partners in New Zealand: Sky and Disney+. Sky Sport and Sky Sport Now will have live Wimbledon coverage on ESPN 2 throughout the tournament (typically, this will run 10pm to 8am). Our programming guides will be updated shortly to reflect this.”

  5. Outstanding. Thanks Philip. Served up an ace! — Clint.

  6. Why wasn’t Wimbledon advertised on TV I contacted Sky and was told Wimbledon wasn’t being televised by them. — Jackie Milne.

  7. Disney+ has the rights to Wimbledon in NZ, so you had to subscribe to see all the courtside action. But Sky did provide some ESPN coverage.
