New to Disney+ in March
Disney+ will launch two major series in March, both movie spin-offs: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (March 19) and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (March 26).
The former stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier.
The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience.
Meanwhile, in modern-day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team.
After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mother (Lauren Graham) set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today.
With the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez), they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.
Love in the Time of Corona (March 12) is a poorly-reviewed four-part Freeform series that The Guardian dubbed “the pandemic TV drama none of us wanted” while Raya and the Last Dragon (March 5) is an animated feature about how humans and dragons lived together harmoniously — until the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity from evil.
Five hundred years later, lone warrior Raya must track down the legendary last dragon to stop the evil force that has returned to threaten her home.
