Spark’s streaming platform will have only one NZ premiere next month: season six of Vikings.
The 20-episode final season will screen in two 10-part instalments, beginning with a double-episode premiere on December 5; the next eight episodes will stream weekly.
Reads the blurb: “After years of turmoil and tragedy, the series reaches its biggest climax yet with the Vikings travelling to never-before-seen locations thousands of miles from Kattegat, meeting vicious rivals worthy of their strategic combat and finally facing the consequences of Ragnar’s death.”
Also new to Lightbox will be box sets of The Inbetweeners (from December 4) and Lipstick Jungle (from December 11).
New movies to rent will include Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Angry Birds 2 Movies, It: Chapter Two, Downton Abbey, Good Boys, Abominable, Untogether, The Farewell, Can You Keep a Secret, Stockholm, The Kitchen, Them That Follow, Anna, Danger Close, Little Women, Amazing Grace: Aretha Franklin, Cats, Robert the Bruce, MA, Rambo: Last Blood and Plus One.
