New to Neon and SoHo in October
Neon will stream David E Kelley’s latest, The Undoing, the same day that it screens on SoHo (8.30 Mondays from October 26).
The limited series revolves around a successful therapist, her devoted husband and their young son after their seemingly perfect life is upended after a violent death, a missing spouse and a chain of terrible revelations.
Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s 2014 novel, it stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and Donald Sutherland under the direction of Suzanne Bier (The Night Manager).
Neon also will stream SoHo’s The Vow from October 21 — but whereas the documentary series about a cult accused of sex trafficking will unfold weekly on the satellite channel, all nine episodes can be binge-viewed on Neon.
Season two of Warrior will stream weekly from October 4, the day of its SoHo launch, and S6a of Fear the Walking Dead from October 13 (SoHo subscribers will have to wait another month or two).
Other Neon exclusives will include Twenties, an eight-part series about a queer African-American woman and her two straight friends chasing their LA dreams (October 9), and S1-2 of Zac and Mia, a Hulu series starring Anne Winters (13 Reasons Why) and Kian Lawley (Before I Fall) as teenagers coping with cancer in a hospital ward (October 30).
Two NZ series will make their Neon debuts next month — comedy sketch show Sis (October 20), COVID-19 drama INSiDE (October 31) — while fans of the comedies Broad City (October 5) and Workaholics (October 15) can catch up on all seven seasons of the latter and all five seasons off the former.
The Gentlemen, Birds of Prey and Doctor Sleep headline the movies that will screen next month on Neon.
