New to Neon in February

The first two seasons of ITV crime drama Grace and the third seasons of The White Lotus and Yellowjackets lead next month’s highlights on Neon.

Grace (February 3) stars John Simm as a haunted cop in Brighton.

It airs on BBC First; S1 previously ran on TVNZ 1.

“With complex protagonists, hateful crooks and plausible stooges, Grace may not have been quite amazing, but has earned its coveted spot among ITV’s crime perennials,” said The Telegraph of S2, which went to air two years after S1 in the UK.

Quipped The Times: “Is the world not quite brutal and evil enough for you? Are there still a few annoying pricks of light in the dark, dark gloom? Well, a two-hour viewing of Grace should see them off.”

S3 of The White Lotus (February 17) is set in a Thai resort over the course of one week.

Kiwi Morgana O’Reilly is part of an ensemble cast that includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Manoghan, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood.

Two other Kiwis, Melanie Lynskey and Simone Kessell, join Christina Ricci, Joel McHale and Hilary Swank in S3 of Yellowjackets (February 14).

Still keeping it local is Miriam Margolyes in New Zealand (February 9).

A sequel to the outspoken Harry Potter star’s three series about Australia, the two-part documentary has her touring the country in a campervan.
